Who will become the official Club Mixed Doubles Champions for 2025?

Find out on Sunday 8th June at our first official Club Championship event for 2025.

There will be two Mixed Doubles competitions – Advanced and Beginner/Intermediate. Each competition will have an initial group round, followed by Quarter, Semi-Final, and Finals. All games will play to 11 with 2 clear points. In the 3 final stages, all games will be the best of three.

Entries will open on Wednesday 7th May and is open to the first 20 male and first 20 female members who apply. If the event is oversubscribed, members will be placed in a waiting list and we will try to expand the competition to accommodate as many members as possible – however we will require an even number of male and female players. All players must be registered on DUPR.

What competition category will I enter? This will be determined by your DUPR rating – once all applications are in, we will determine the median DUPR rating – those rated above the median rating will go into the Advanced competition, and thos below the median will go into the Intermediate/Beginner competition.

There will be trophies for the winners and medals for the runners-up.

Our Christmas competition was a fun precursor to this, and which we learned some lessons from.

Don’t like competitions or currently injured/unable to play? We will need some volunteers to help us run the event. So please let us know if you can help in any way.
